The Road to Recovery is an informative documentary on the consequences of addiction to methamphetamine, commonly known as tik.

The City that Kills Somalians is a documentary about the lives of poor people, mostly migrants, in the city of Cape Town.

Arts Desk is a forthcoming show that covers arts events and up-and-coming artists in Cape Town.

CTV has started a project to ensure that its member organisations get on-air exposure. Members are invited to studio shoots where a representative can give a short speech about the organisation to camera. This is then edited together with photographs supplied by the organisation to show its activities.

The final PSAs (public service announcements) are about two-to-three minutes in length and these are then flighted regularly on CTV over a period of time, usually about one to two months.

The first organisations to make use of this facility are Women’s Network, Western Province Bowls, Epilepsy SA and Greatmore Studios.
